RHCA Job Description - Secretary
Responsibilities
- Attend all community association board meetings as voting member
- Book meeting locations
- Record the minutes of meetings
- Type the minutes and circulate them to all board members and applicable committee members by email within 2 days of the meeting. Invite corrections and correct and re-circulate them as required.
- Present the minutes for approval at the next meeting.
Requirements and Useful skills
- Computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux operating system)
- Printer (8.5in x 11in B&W)
- Scanner (Optional but recommended)
- High-speed Internet connection
- Software applications for Word processing, Email, (recommended free software is available on the Internet for all required applications)
- Computer skills (Word processing, Email)
- English language competency
