RHCA Job Description - Social Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Attend all community association board meetings as voting member
- Respond to suggestions from the community and board to plan / coordinate community social events. Previous social events have included:
- murder / mystery evenings
- casino nights
- catered dinners
- weekend shopping trips to Minot and / or Edmonton
- family dances
- family skate nights
- family fun day
- wine tasting evening
- family bingo
- Plan / organize / coordinate the family fun day (process for this day to occur is well documented in social coordinator binder including month by month calendar for planning and ideas for events on the day included)
- present proposed budget to community association prior to event
- follow up with community association re: net gain/loss financially (goal is as close to break even as possible)
- coordinate volunteers
- design layout of location to assist with set up (if venue change)
- attend event including set up / take down to ensure all duties completed and clean up is complete. If not able to be there through out entire event ensure another community association member is present and responsible to ensure all duties completed.
- change / modify and update information in social coordinator binder so data remains current to assist future volunteers as social coordinator in completing their duties.
