Responsibilities
- Attend all community association board meetings as voting member
- Act as the president in his or her absence
- Assist the president on his or her specified duties
- Has signing authority for all payments made by the association and for all legal papers and contracts
- Frequently assigned to a special area of responsibility, such as membership, media, annual dinner, facility, or
personnel
- According to our by-laws, the vice president is the president-elect
