Winter program registration is complete. Due to lack of interest, some programs were cancelled - please check the program listings for updates.
We're actively looking for volunteers! Involvement in the community association is a great way to meet other people in the community, and a rewarding way to become involved in making our neighbourhood a better place. There are several positions open:
- The Secretary position requires about 2 hours per month; 1 hour to attend the meeting and record the minutes, and another to type up the minutes and distribute them by email.
- The Newsletter position requires about 20 hours 3-4 times per year and involves gathering content and ads from email submissions, doing the layout and submitting it to the printing company, and submitting the newsletters to the post office for delivery. A credit card is required for the post office delivery charge (approx $250/newsletter reimbursed). The software required is all free.
- The Indoor Program Coordinator involves setting up and coordinating the programs for the community assocation. Recruiting instructors, arranging for gym and school bookings, running registration nights and organizing the direction of the programs overall.
