Pilates - Essentials, Level One (Adult)

- Course Description
- Pilates is a balanced blend of strength and flexibility training that improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up. The focus is on quality of movement rather than quantity, which makes one feel invigorated rather than exhausted after a session. You can expect an increase in strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, and body awareness, as well as a decrease in back pain or other general pains. No experience in Pilates necessary for registration. Participants will be required to bring a mat and the instructor will supply the props.

Introduction to Martial Arts (Ages 7 - 12)

- Course Description
- This course is a non-combative introduction to traditional Chinese martial arts. There is a strong focus on fun with stretching, balance and discipline included. This course is intended as a way for kids to experience martial arts on an introductory level, as a precursor to a formal course. No equipment is required.
